Pindah Buku Catatan

Sudah saatnya catatan-catatan panjang ini kupindahkan ketempat baru dan dengan semangat baru.

Salah satu resolusi 2011 adalah memindahkan sebagian isi yang baik disini ke buku baru di:

Harapannya disana, catatan-catatan ini bisa lebih membangun dan menginspirasi diri.

Baru saja melihat-lihat, ternyata buku blogspot ini sudah dipakai sejak tahun 2003!

Dan sekarang, sudah hampir tahun 2011. Satu dekade lebih telah berlalu sejak tahun 2000.

Masih ingat rasanya, duduk di ruangan perangkat di Banda Aceh menunggu detik-detik pergantian milenium 1999-2000 (yang kemudian terlewatkan begitu saja karena asik bermain game, hehehe) terus kemudian menyadari bahwa Y2K hanyalah suatu Y2Kidding :-)

1 dekade yang berat, penuh catatan dan pelajaran berharga.

Sampai jumpa di tahun depan, di buku baru, di dekade baru, dengan tantangan baru dan resolusi baru. Semoga segalanya menjadi lebih baik.

Mengelak itu Mudah

Dan orang besar, tidak akan pernah mengelak.

Pernah gak denger cerita para Nabi mengelak dari masalah? Dari tantangan dan masalah?

Adam, yang bertaubat dan menerima hukuman Allah untuk turun ke bumi.

Nuh yang berusaha keras tetap membangun kapal itu ditengah musim kemarau panjang dan ejekan kaumnya.

Ibrahim, yang gigih mencari Tuhan dan tetap berjuang menegakkan ke-Esa-an-Nya walau harus bermandikan api.

Musa, yang terkenal keras dan pantang menyerah, hingga lautan pun terbelah.

Isa, yang selalu lembut dan penuh kasih sayang kepada sesiapapun pencemooh dan penentangnya.

Muhammad, yang tak pernah mundur sedikitpun dalam peperangan, tidak pernah mengingkari janji meskipun terlihat merugikan, dan dengan gagah terhormat datang menerima tantangan.

Tidak pernah sejarah mencatat nama orang-orang yang mudah mengelak dengan tinta emas.

So, lain kali, ketika terlihat bahwa kesulitan itu datang dengan segala macam kerumitannya, dan yang terpikir pertama kali adalah untuk mengelak dengan berbagai alasan, maka ingatlah akan mereka.

Dan ingatlah kemana tujuan kita dalam hidup yang terlalu singkat ini. Kemudian berpikirlah lagi, apakah memang harus mengelak kali ini?

Life : It's Official Now

Almost 12 years of my life spent on one of the best company in Indonesia.

It's official as of today, that I'm no longer part of the company.

Now I'm a part of another company that I'm thinking to be very much aligned with what Seth Godin means in his Small is the New Big article.

Humbled. Thrilled. Excited.

All the strong feelings mixed into one.

Ceasefire

Is it only me who questions if the ceasefire is "planned" to happened just few days before Obama inauguration?

Even so,
whatsoever caused the ceasefire, I'm truly glad that it happened especially for the people involved in the warzone.

I'd nevertheless hoped that this time it is for a real and longlasting peace.

To Children and Parents in the Warzone

I am really sorry that I could only offer you my condolences and very little help compared to your sufferings and misery.

May Allah, the Most Compassionate, be with you, always.

Is UNO a Joke?

Short answer?
Maybe yes, and if it is, it is a very black unfunny tasteless one.

Long answer? Please, let me think about this.

I am not sure I know of much details about UNO but some that I learned during schools and movies (you can learn from movies? yes, even from a bad one).

But UNO's very existence is becoming a tasteless joke. It's inability to stop clear and present violences in recent Israel vs Palestina war is not only a joke, it is both stupid and shameful. Thinking only from this point of view, I'd say UNO need to be dismissed with red marks and disgraced. Every nation still believe in it should be condemned and exiled.

From another point of view, 'though, I'd say that it is not that simple. UNO may not be so useful at times, it may even act as collective moron some other times, but it maybe the only place where people could sit together, discuss and find solutions to important matters regarding the survival of humans and nations without firing any inter-continental missiles.

As I've written recently, I still am condemned any terrorist actions. I believe that the only way to stop these violences and came out civilized is to continue spreading good words, good will, and good acts within and to each other.

If only we could all stop for a moment and thought about best gifts of our lives, we may not be so easy to do harm unto others.

God's Best Gifts

Sometimes we just forgot about them.

In our daily activities, doing work, routines, heavy, mind-challenging tasks and what-not, we just forgot about things that God has provided for us.

The sunshine, the air that we breath, the trees of green, skies of blue, and red roses too, the wonderful world :-)

Only rarely, and maybe also shortly, we got reminded about them. Our God gaven gifts.

Today, I got reminded on few of the best gifts of them all.

My families and friends and teachers. Their pray and support for me. The ones who helps and contributes and teaches me everything I have become good of in life. The one who loves and cares aboout me. My loved ones.

Herewith, please allow me to Thank You All.

Although I learned that there can never be enough thanks or anything that I could ever do to repay them all. I'll always try to do my best and hope that I could also do the same to those who needs me. Paying it forward, they say.

I hope that you all would never stop your support for me. I know I could be stupid, arrogant, and in-sensitives at times. I really really, really, am sorry for those moments.

In and through out my life, your care and supports have always helped me to get back on my feet.

You are all the best.
