A very intriguing question to me, too.
If the world is now full of liars, why do we keep telling our children (and therefore lying to them), that they should not lied?
I think I have an answer, but I'm curious,

D'oh but I lack of basa-basi, perhaps I'm worst in practice + in words -_-
ONCE a man do lie, he need TEN more lies to make the first lie sounds like a truth.

that's certainly usually correct.
But that's not an answer to the question. If there's nothing wrong with lying, then there should not be anything wrong doing it 10 more times, right?
